Compound Movement of the week: Bulgarian/Back Leg Elevated Split Squat

MAXED Adultletes progressed from a standard split squat to a back leg elevated split squat, placing more stress on the glutes, hamstrings, hip flexors, and quads of the front leg in order to bring the weight up ๐Ÿฆต๐Ÿฟ

Aside from the hypertrophy benefits and multiple muscles benig used for this movement, it also exposes and corrects imbalances in each leg, providing an increase in overall strength and stability between both sides

Definitely one of our favorite compound movements at MAXED, the rear leg elevated split squat should always be an incorporated exercise for athletes and adults who can perform them correctly๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฟ
