Compound movement of the week: SPLIT SQUAT

This week, MAXED Adultletes performed split squats as the main compound movement of their lower body split

Split squats are a great lower body exercise because the weight being focused on the front foot. This helps to targets the quads, but also utilizes the glutes, hip flexors, and hamstrings, making it an effective lower body exercise for strength, power, and hypertrophy.
